In addition to earning a master’s degree in public administration, a bachelor’s degree in law, a bachelor’s degree in business administration, and a bachelor’s degree in public administration, Dennis Cunanan is a graduate of the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA. He was chosen by all UP System students to be their Student Regent from 1994 to 1995 while he was a student at the University of the Philippines in Diliman.
He has held a number of elected and appointed posts in the government, including Presidential Assistant for Youth Affairs, youngest Head Executive Assistant in the Office of the Speaker of Congress, and elected Municipal Councilor and OIC-Vice Mayor of Magalang, Pampanga.
